Delphinium elatum 'Magic Ftns Mixed'
- Hybrid cultivars which make excellent cut flowers. Fertile soil. Tall cultivars require staking, and can reach 7 to 8 feet in Northern latitudes when well grown (they are almost always shorter in the South). Most robust growth occurs above the 50th parallel - Northern Europe, Siberia, Canada and Alaska; where gigantic specimens heavily clothed in bloom are greatly admired by Summer tourists. Summer blooming. Deadheading prolongs bloom.
